Park Lane

park lane exterior

The Park Lane is Jacksonville’s oldest highrise. Built in 1926 adjacent to the lovely Memorial Park (designed by the sons of Central Park’s architect Frederick Olmstead), the Park Lane is a “boutique” building of only 39 units. the “A” unit faces the South toward Ortega, the “B” unit is in the center of the building and directly faces the St. John’s River and the “C” unit faces Memorial Park and Downtown.

The A and  C units are both 2BR/1.5 BA units that offer “flow through” views. That is, they have a magnificent view of the river in the front and a dynamic view of vibrant Riverside in the back. This style lends itself to lots of natural light and privacy.

Because of it’s age, the Park Lane doesn’t have all of the fancy amenities of newer buildings like Villa Riva but what it lacks in amenities, it excels in character and charm.

Located within walking distance to a fabulous new Publix, Starbucks, a great gym and wonderful restaurants including Zoe’s, Al’s Pizza Kitchen and MossFire grill, you can enjoy a lifestyle not offered very often — the walking lifestyle that New Yorkers covet.
